Do you sell antique postcards?
No, we do not sell physical postcards, we sell the digitized images from antique postcards for use in publications such as calenders, magazines, postcards, scrapbooking, web sites, etc. All our images are digitized directly from the original vintage postcard sources in our private collection.
How do I buy images?
1. Click the 'Buy This Image' button located below the images you'd like to download. These images will be added to your shopping cart.
2. View your shopping cart to complete the PayPal payment process online using a bank, debit or credit card
3. When payment is completed you will be directed to a page with download links for the full size images you bought. You will also recieve an email with links to download the full size images (links expire in 24 hours).
What is the file format of your images?
The images you buy on AntiquePostcardImages.com are in JPEG format and average 16 inches by 10 inches at 180 ppi. Images average 2 megabytes each.
Does AntiquePostcardImages.com claim copyrights to these images?
The images contained within this site, with the exception of those represented to be originally produced by AntiquePostcardImages.com, are believed to be in the public domain. This means the copyright has expired. AntiquePostcardImages.com offers art digitized directly from authentic vintage postcards within our collection. We charge a 99¢ image digitizing/transfer fee for access to our largest size images. Please feel free to use the smaller watermarked images for comping.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Online Credit Card Payments: When you add an item to your shopping cart, you can pay with your Credit Card or a PayPal account. You do NOT need to register a PayPal account to place an order. When you check out simply select "I do not have a PayPal account" and you will be able to complete your order without setting up a PayPal account.
What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of digital downloads we do not issue refunds for downloaded images. Please be aware that all material has been digitized from original postcard sources and may have flaws from the original (scratches, stains, etc.). Please look carefully at all images before you buy.
Do you have images that aren't online?
YES! Contact us with a description of what you are looking for and if we have something that may be a good match for you we will contact with a watermarked image and pricing information.
